One key factor to consider is the out-of-pocket (OOP) maximum for each plan. Many people initially lean towards options like the Bronze 701 with the lowest premium, but it has an OOP max of $9,200. Others may choose a low-deductible plan like the Gold 204, which also has a $9,200 OOP max. However, the Bronze 202 plan stands out with a lower OOP maximum of $7,500.
Knowing that fertility treatments will likely reach the OOP max, it makes sense to choose a plan that caps your expenses at $7,500 rather than $8,900 or $9,200. I’d be glad to go over plan options in detail during our call to help you make the best choice!
Unlike many agents who charge fees, our services are completely free, and our agency has access to all BCBS plans, including some not available on healthcare.gov—like the Bronze 202 plan. Important: Do not sign up through healthcare.gov, as the Bronze 202 plan is only accessible through an agent.
