Yep, it's ludicrous. My wife's name is on my card so now when I go to the doctor they assume I've had a sex change or I'm going under she/her. Another shining example of health insurance companies showing maximum incompetence in understanding their customers, the subscribers that actually pay their salaries. We'd be better off having a plan number on the ID card without name.
