Does Washington have short-term health insurance?
There are currently no short-term health insurance offered in Washington. Although the state allows the sale of plans up to three months in duration, there are currently no insurers offering plans in the state as of 2019. This is due to changes in regulations that prohibit renewals of short-term plans and prevent the sale of short-term plans to anyone that has had three months of short-term health insurance . It is possible that insurers will offer short-term plans in the future, but currently there are none.
