Does California have short-term health insurance?

California no longer offers short-term health insurance plans. In past years, the state used to offer short-term plans limited to 185 days, but those plans are no longer available.  

In September of 2018, the government of the state of California signed a bill into law that prohibits the sale or renewal of any short-term plans in the state. It does not look like California will sell short-term plans any time soon.
