Open Enrollment 2026 Key Dates

The dates for Open Enrollment can be a little confusing, so below is a breakdown of key dates for Open Enrollment 2026. 

The Marketplace Open Enrollment Period generally runs from November 1st to January 15th.

Consumers who enroll by midnight on December 15th (5 a.m. EST on December 16) can get full-year coverage that starts January 1st, 2026.

January 1, 2026 start date - ENROLL BY DECEMBER 15th, 2025.

February 2, 2026 start date - ENROLL BY JANUARY 15th, 2025.
