I am interested in the Blue Precision HMO. Would I be covered if I went to Walgreens for a flu shot? Does the plan include the Walgreens walk in clinics? What Happens if I get sick if I am out of Town?

Your flu shot would not be covered at Walgreens under the Blue Precision HMO plan unless your HMO medical group has contracted with Walgreens separately. If you went to Walgreens for a flu shot shot with the Blue Precision HMO, it would likely be considered out-of-network and would not be covered even though it is considered a covered Essential Health Benefit. 

However, if you enrolled in a BlueCare Direct with Advocate HMO Plan and went to one of the 56 Chicago area Walgreens that participate in the Advocate network, your flu shot would be covered at 100% at no cost.
