Integrated Care SEP

This new SEP will allow some people who are both enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid to join or switch to certain Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) on a monthly basis. D-SNPs are a type of Medicare Advantage plan. 

TRS-Care Medicare Advantage

You can enroll in TRS-Care Medicare Advantage when you turn 65, if you have a special enrollment event, or if you're eligible for a limited-time enrollment opportunity. Special enrollment events can include losing your health care coverage involuntarily or adding a new dependent. 

Plan offerings

In 2025, the average beneficiary will have access to 42 Medicare Advantage plans, including those with and without prescription drug coverage. 88% of individual enrollment plans will include prescription drug coverage, and 67% of those plans will charge no premium other than the Part B premium. 

Monthly payment plans

A new monthly payment plan will be available for prescriptions, and out of pocket expenses will be capped at $2,000.
